Gardens at Heather Farm
"The grounds and buildings at The Gardens at Heather Farm are available to rent for all your special event needs. Our spacious building, surrounded by lovely gardens, is next to Heather Farm Park in Walnut Creek, California and has a commanding view of our local landmark, Mount Diablo.
Our Garden areas are also available for outside functions – creating a perfect opportunity for inside-outside entertaining. We can tailor a rental package to meet the needs of your events."
Fort Mason Center, San Francisco
"Fort Mason Center is a waterfront destination for thought provoking programs, events and organizations which support and reflect the evolving cultural fabric of San Francisco and the Bay Area. An exceedingly vital cultural resource within San Francisco, the campus occupies 13 acres of waterfront and consists of buildings, piers and open space within the Golden Gate National Park, a division of the National Park Service. "
Sigmund Stern Grove
"Stern Grove is a 33-acre recreational site in the Sunset District, San Francisco, California. It is administered by the city's Recreation and Parks Department, and is the concert setting for the 71-year-old (as of the 2008 season) Stern Grove Festival."
Piedmont Community Center
Piedmont Community Church
Piedmont Community Church, located in the heart of the city of Piedmont, is one of the most beautiful settings for a wedding ceremony in the Bay Area.
The magnificent sanctuary, surrounded by artful stained glass windows and the enchanting fountain courtyard with its colorful landscaping, are just a few of the many features that couples are seeking when looking for a site for a wedding ceremony and reception.
This beautiful mission style church, built in 1916, also has a smaller chapel in the Christian Education complex that seats about 100.
The fountain courtyard may also be used for ceremonies up to 100 guests.
The Guild Hall, just steps from the courtyard, is a perfect site for receptions. It features a stage (ideal for a band or DJ), a log-burning fireplace, a baby grand piano and seats up to 200 guests. Included in the rental are round and rectangular tables and white wood folding chairs.
A fully equipped kitchen, adjacent to the Guild Hall, is available to licensed caterers.
Hiller Highlands Country Club
The Fireside Room, with full kitchen, patio and view deck, is available for social functions, weddings, and meetings. This room can be reserved by both club members and non-members, alike. You may select the caterer of your choice, and The Highlands Country Club will provide the set up of tables and chairs for your event in your desired configuration. The room has a capacity to accommodate up to 100 people, and is reserved in a four hour block of time until 11:00 PM.
California Ballroom
The California Ballroom is just a few blocks from Lake Merritt in Oakland's financial district. Built in 1926 as the grand ballroom of the elegant Leamington Hotel, it showcases a majestic high gold leaf ceiling, a 500 square foot stage with curtains and spotlights, and a a 700 square foot dance floor, perhaps the largest in the Bay Area.
Although the Leamington no longer operates as a hotel, the impressive Art Deco Ballroom is still going strong. It was renovated in 1986 to its original historic elegance. This landmark space is one of the few locations in the East Bay that can seat 300 for dinner.
Original Art Deco chandeliers hang from the soaring ceiling. Burgundy draperies and carpet, gold detailing above the doors and mirrors and a disco ball complete the festive decor. The California Ballroom's impressive stage can be used for your head table or to feature a band, DJ or keynote speaker. This is truly Oakland's most elegant and unique location for special events.
Joaquin Miller & Sequoia Lodge
A quaint and cozy retreat, like a hidden treasure amongst the fragrant eucalyptus trees and towering redwoods. This enchanting and secluded facility has an encompassing wooden deck that compliments the natural surroundings. There is a small conversational area with an exquisitely designed stone fireplace and an adjacent banquet room, which is medium in size. As you take in the breath taking beauty of the atmosphere that surrounds Sequoia Lodge, you will be delighted by the skylight that allows natural light directly in the center of the banquet room.
Holy Trinity Cultural Center
The Center provides a beautiful and spacious lawn area, a private patio and plenty of parking space.
The Holy Trinity Cultural Center is an elegant reception, banquet and meeting facility available for all special events. The Center has 5,000 square feet of versatile space for up to 300 people. The beautiful chandeliers and carpeting add a luxurious touch to any occasion. The Center also has a full-equipped commercial kitchen.
The Center is located in the beautiful Town of Moraga, easily accessible from all parts of the Bay Area.
Mission on the Hill
